Recently, the Apparel Export Promotion Council Board approached the Finance and Textile Ministers on the issue of GST refunds and government tax refunds (RoSL).

In the past, textile and apparel exports appear to have been hit hard by the Goods and Services Tax, which caused significant tensions in the industry. The Apparel Export Promotion Council issued a statement after meeting with ministers, and related ministers also showed a deep understanding of the issue and expressed a certain level of support.

The council also said the minister had extended aid to the labor sector and said precise details and aid would be provided as soon as possible.

Export Promotion Council – Registration Procedure

Exporters are required to apply for an EPC appropriate to their products. A garment exporter must register with her AEPC.

After approval, the exporter receives her RCMC.
